Warranty Terms

The buying process begins as soon as you pay a deposit. If at any stage you wish to cancel your purchase, the deposit will be forfeited.

Deposits are fully refundable if a previously undisclosed, significant fault arises with the vehicle prior to the balance being paid.

This warranty does not cover any liability for any losses covered under an accidental damage or vehicles insurance policy, or any damage caused by a fire, flood or accident. This warranty does not provide cover for people or physical injury.

No liability will be accepted for the following: if damage is caused by neglect, foreign matter entering into or onto a component, lack of servicing, overheating or freezing, abuse or wilful damage. Breakdown or mechanical failure caused by failure to maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy condition including the maintenance of proper levels, oil and water etc.

For any warranty repairs to be carried out, the owner must return the vehicle to Herts Defenders at the owner's expense in order for the work to be carried out.

All repairs must be carried out by Herts Defenders and no liability will be accepted for any claim which is reported to Herts Defenders more than 7 days after the relevant fault is discovered.

We may in exceptional circumstances permit a third party to effect repairs subject (without exception) to authorisation by Herts Defenders before commencement of any repairs.

The claim limitation is limited to the retail value of the vehicle.
